FC St. Pauli, commonly known as St. Pauli, is a German professional football club based in the district of St. Pauli of Hamburg, Germany. The club was founded on 15 May 1910 and has a passionate and unique fan base.

St. Pauli is known for its strong leftist political stance and commitment to social activism, making it more than just a football club. The club's fans are known for their activism and support for various social and humanitarian issues.

The club has a long history and many stories, although it has not achieved the same level of success as some other German football clubs. Pauli has spent most of their history playing in the lower divisions of German football, but they sometimes have time to play in the second division, 2. Bundesliga.

However, the unique identity and devoted fan base of St. Pauli went on to make them an important and beloved club in German football.
