Mansfield Town Football Club, also known as 'The Stags', has a history dating back to 1897. The club has achieved many successes and challenges throughout its existence.

Mansfield Town's most important period took place in the 1960s and early 1970s under the leadership of Tommy Eggleston and later Bill Curry. During this time the club achieved notable promotions and achievements, including the 1962–63 Fourth Division championship and the 1974–75 Third Division championship. This success catapulted them to the pinnacle of English football. The Stags have appeared in the FA Cup and League Cup, often playing against higher ranked teams. Although they have not won any major national or international titles, the club's dedication to the sport and its community remains constant.

Mansfield Town has faced financial challenges and changes in ownership over the years have affected its stability and competitiveness. The club has maintained a loyal fanbase and their home matches are played at One Call Stadium, formerly known as Field Mill.

Like all football clubs, development is possible after my last knowledge update in September 2021. Therefore, I recommend checking recent sources for the latest information on Mansfield Town FC's performance, achievements and recent changes.
